Trying to keep it together

The majority of stress in our life seems to come from trying to keep it all together. We stress daily about jobs,money, loved ones, our future and so on – however when we look upon our life we realise that things come together and then fall apart…and then come back together again only to fall apart again. We seem to be on an endless rollercoaster of excitement, fear and disappointments.

We find comfort and strength in the words of Pema Chodron when she says “Only to the extent that we expose ourselves over and over to annihilation can that which is indestructible in us be found” And once we absorb her words and & realise that so far we have survived everything that life has thrown at us we start transforming into a tree with deep strong roots that can withstand & even flourish in the many storms that life brings
